Tidalmarine Engineering Sdn. Bhd. (TME) was incorporated in August 1993 with the vision to be the market leader in dredging, reclamation, coastal protection, port and harbour activities in Malaysia in particular and the East Asian Region in general. Dredging and reclamation works are very specialised field in the construction industry, thus in the past, most of the projects in Malaysia were undertaken by non-local companies. Tidalmarine was set-up to provide Malaysian expertise in this niche market.
Tidalmarine is a 100% local Bumiputracompany with a paid-up capital of RM10 million and an authorised capital of RM25 million. To date, it has a workforce of over 100 staff with well experienced personnel in their respective field and is presided by its founder Dato' Ir. Dr. Hj. Nik Mohd Kamel Nik Hassan.
Tidalmarine's field of expertise is in marine work such as the construction of jetties, wharft, dredging, land reclamation, port, river improvement work, breakwater and coastal protection work. It also undertakes civil engineering and infrastructure works.
